The object of the game is to accumulate the highest point total each week to win the Weekly Prize*. The points come from the "Confidence Value" that you assign each game, with the game you feel most confident about receiving the highest value. Your weekly point totals are combined so that at the end of the season the top players* split the Grand Prize*.
THE GAME
• Choose the team that you believe will win each game.
• Assign a "confidence value" to each game. These values are determined by the number of games played that week (e.g., Week 1 has 16 games, so rank the games 1 through 16, assigning 16 to the game in which you have the most confidence that you’ve correctly selected the winner; 15 to the next most confident, etc.)
• Predict the total points that will be scored in the last game(s) on the Picksheet, which is usually the Monday Night game(s).
THE WEEKLY WINNER
The values of each correctly chosen game are tabulated, and the person with the most points wins that week's prize*.
THE TIE-BREAKER
In case two or more players have the same total, the player whose point total prediction is closest to the actual point total - without going over - wins. If all tied players go over, then the closest to the total is the winner. If there is still a tie, the remaining tied players split that week's prize*.
THE PRIZES
• The winner of the Grand Prize* is the person with the highest overall total at the end of the regular season.
• Second thru * place will receive a cut of the Grand Prize*.
• Weekly entries are due by the Wednesday prior to that week's games except:
– WEEK 1-due by kickoff Thursday, 9/5.
– WEEKS 2–16-due Wednesdays.
– WEEK 17-due Tuesday, 12/24.
– WEEK 18-due Saturday, 1/4.
• All tie games are thrown out.
• If a game is rescheduled outside its original week, it will be thrown out.
• Players who fail to enter their weekly picks will receive half the total of that week’s last place score (a courtesy, so no one will have zero points for a week).
* Will be determined by the number of participants.
